On October 30, 2026, YAKOPI welcomed representatives from Sumitomo Corporation, including Keisuke Adachi, Yusuke Kinoshita, Shuji Naito, and Aryo Gurning, along with representatives from VNV, Sandeep Roy Choudury and Nawarut Phiansamrit, for a coordination meeting at YAKOPI Main Office in Medan. The meeting brought together the three organizations to strengthen their collaboration and advance shared commitments to mangrove conservation and restoration. More than just a platform to exchange updates, the meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on ongoing progress, share insights, and discuss how collective efforts can create meaningful and lasting impacts for coastal ecosystems and the communities who depend on them.
