Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between YAKOPI and the Faculty of Forestry Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU)
Every meaningful change begins with a shared vision. A vision to turn knowledge into action, collaboration into impact, and commitment into lasting change.
On November 4, 2026, Yayasan Konservasi Pesisir Indonesia (YAKOPI) and the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), took an important step forward through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the beginning of a stronger partnership in advancing conservation through education, research, and community engagement.
Through this collaboration, both institutions are committed to creating opportunities for knowledge exchange, joint research, workshops, seminars, human resource development, internship programs, the Kampus Berdampak initiative, and the shared utilization of expertise and facilities to support meaningful conservation efforts.
Because conservation needs more than action; It needs knowledge to guide it, research to strengthen it, and collaboration to sustain it. By connecting academic excellence with practical conservation experience this collaboration contributed to environmental protection and sustainable resource management.
Together, we turn knowledge into action and collaboration into lasting impact.
One Team, One Dream, For Generation!
