Hello coastal friends.

Yayasan Konservasi Pesisir Indonesia (Yakopi) and the Central Aceh Regency government carried out the Launching of Agroforestry Planting in Mera Mege Village, Central Aceh Regency. This activity was also a symbol of planting 150 coffee and avocado plants. This activity is not only symbolic of planting but Yakopi wants to carry out forest restoration and community empowerment activities aimed at reforestation and also helping the community to manage their land by planting plants such as coffee, pokad, Durian, lamtoro and other agroforestry plants which are certainly very helpful for the economy. the community later with the activities of seeding and planting.

This event was attended directly by the Regent of Central Aceh, Drs. Shabela Abubakar, who also received a positive response to the activities that will be carried out in Central Aceh Regency and hopes that these activities will run well and have a positive impact on local communities and for environmental sustainability and related agencies. The Director of Yakopi is also Mr. Eling Tuhono, Expressing gratitude for the good response from the government of Central Aceh Regency and also to the people who are very enthusiastic in this activity, hopefully this activity will run well later. And this event was witnessed directly by Yakopi Guest, namely VNV Advisory who is a donor for environmental restoration and empowerment activities.
